More Styrofoam Coolers Made Into Ottomans

I'm battling a headache but I can't stand doing nothing so I made a couple of ottomans this weekend.  Here are a couple of pics.

I lined this one, I will probably do the other one too, we will see.

The line up!  Do you have a favourite?

  3. Yes, my favorite is the one on the left, then the one on the right, then the one in the middle! :)

  5. I deliver packages for a life science center and have access to LOTS of large styrofoam boxes.
I've been storing them to make stuff with them but I don't have your initiative to complete things.
I've used spray adhesive to glue fabric onto the boxes but it doesn't seem to adhere as well as I'd hoped. I'd like my ottomans to take some wear. I'd like to put my feet up on them and not have to be graceful about it. I would prefer staples if they stay in over time. Do your staples stay in when people use the ottomans?

    1. Hi, thanks for looking, yes they do stay in but I should clarify that I used long staples in a pneumatic stapler. They work great!

  6. Love these and have been looking out for larger versions. I'm not the crafty sort, but I can follow instructions. I currently am using 2 foam coolers (from med delivery) as a printer stand but want to turn them into a tall, decorative table. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for sharing your craft!

  7. Did you put the wood lining in for support? Do all of the ottomans you made have wood liners?
